A previous winner of the tenor saxophone category in the British Jazz Awards, this living legend of a tenor player is still regularly playing to packed crowds over at The Bull’s Head. “His ideas (are) eclectic in an unpredictable style that has outlasted the Coltrane clones of his generation ……” said Jack Massarick – London Evening Standard Jazz Critic. Completing this A-List quartet are Pete Whittaker on piano, Tim Wells on double bass & Spike Wells on drums.
